It all started with a challenge launched at the time by a developer who was convinced that it was possible to make a watch that would be unbreakable, even if dropped. This is how the Tough Project team was born in 1981. The team created more than 200 prototypes one after the other over a period of about two years. They finally arrived at a shock-resistant structure. This is how a fundamentally robust technology was born.
